Gem & Mineral Society to discuss fair booth

FALLBROOK – At its June 10 meeting, the Fallbrook Gem & Mineral Society will host its annual pie/dessert night, silent auction and discuss the club’s booth in the Gem & Mineral Building at the San Diego County Fairgrounds in Del Mar.

Plans for a July 17 field trip to the White Knob Quarry in Lucerne Valley will also be discussed. The trip will include collecting minerals and night collecting of fluorescent minerals. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at 123 W. Alvarado St. For more information, visit http://www.fgms.org.
