Bret Michaels, Rick Springfield at Pala July 31

PALA - Glam metal/country rock star Bret Michaels and perennial rocker and actor Rick Springfield will co-headline a special performance Saturday, July 31, at Pala Casino Spa & Resort.

Michaels, the lead vocalist of Poison and star of the VH1 reality show Rock of Love, is back on stage after recovering from a brain hemorrhage suffered in April.

In March, Michaels released a new single, “Nothing to Lose,” from his upcoming new studio album, Custom Built, which is scheduled to be released July 6. The song featured the guest vocals of Mylie Cyrus. In April, his second single, “Lie to Me,” was released and in May, he released a third single, “Wasted Time.”

As a musician, Springfield is most famous for his 1981 number one single, “Jessie’s Girl,” which became a Grammy Award-winning landmark of pop-rock and helped establish the emerging music-video age. As an actor, his best-known role is the character Dr. Noah Drake on the daytime drama General Hospital.

The show will take place at 7 p.m. on July 31. Call (877) 946-7252 for more information or visit http://www.startickets.com.
