Friday Block Party will feature Off Road, Race Car, Open Headers

FALLBROOK – Connections Fallbrook Networking group continues their Hot Summer Nites Series with a Giant Block Party for the whole family in downtown Fallbrook. The theme this coming Friday, August 13, is Off Road, Race Car & Open Headers.

Fallbrook Vintage Cars & Bonsall Rods & Relics will be displaying their classic car collections, and special guests include the “On The Edge” 4 x 4 Club from San Diego.

The Hooter Girls will also be assisting by handing out earplugs. The popular Tony Suraci Band will be playing live music in the Village Square and Holy Smokes BBQ will be selling food and refreshments.

Adults can enjoy beer from the Palm & Stone Brewing companies, and Bill & Shirley Oakley will be pouring wine from Mad Housewife Cellars. Some downtown merchants will stay open late, and local restaurants will be awaiting the hungry crowds when the event winds down around sunset.

Cars will be parked up and down Main Avenue for viewing, and awards will be presented for various categories. Car coordination contacts are Mike Mroz of Lone Wolf Garage at (760) 728-9615.

Admission is free, and no dogs, skateboards or bicycles are allowed at the event. Main Avenue will be closed from Fig to Ivy at 4.30 pm. Parking is available behind the Art & Cultural Center and on side streets.
