Four friends raise money for Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary

FALLBROOK – During the summer, four local students decided offering lemonade and baked goods for sale was the perfect way to raise funds for a worthy cause.

St. Peter’s Catholic School student Anasofia Vazquez, 9, and her three neighborhood friends, Kaitlin Dundas, 11, Klaire Dundas, 8, and Jon Dundas, 9, who attend Iowa Street School, set out to raise $100 this summer to donate to an animal shelter and they came very close to their goal.

On August 28, the four friends went to Major Market where the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary was holding a pet adoption event and donated the $93.35 they raised to the non-profit group.
