FALLBROOK – Fallbrook’s VFW Ladies Auxiliary recently donated $3,000 to the 315 Army Engineer Battalion stationed on Camp Pendleton. The 315 is a command and control headquarters’ element with focused logistical capabilities to operate in a full spectrum operational environment.
The Family Readiness Group is a group of family and friends whose main goal is communication and support for the soldiers in the battalion and their families at home and at times of deployment. They are planning a Holiday Family Day on Dec. 4, and the VFW Ladies wanted to donate to their party. Any remaining money will be given to soldiers or families in need.
