County-wide Prescription Drug Take-Back Day next Saturday

County-wide Prescription Drug Take-Back Day scheduled for Saturday April 30, 2011 from 10am to 2pm.

Fallbrook area and Camp Pendleton residents will have an opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted prescription medications at several locations. No questions are asked, and the medication will be disposed of according to State and Federal laws.

The Take-Back event will be:

Saturday April 30, 2011, 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Sheriff's Fallbrook Station at 388 East Alvarado St ., Fallbrook; MCB Camp Pendleton - Military only, San Onofre Collection Site (51 Area) adjacent to San Onofre Commissary and MCX (Military active, retired,and beneficiaries only); Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton (27 Area) Pharmacy entrance parking lot (Military active, retired, and beneficiaries only) Oceanside; MCB Camp Pendleton - Military only Front Gate Collection Site (20 Area) In parking lot at Wire Mt. Rd. and Vandegrift Blvd.
