Temecula Police looking for bank robbery suspect

On April 14, at about 5:45 p.m., officers from the Temecula Police Department responded to a robbery at the US Bank Vons Office located at 29530 Rancho California Road in Temecula.

A black male gave the teller a note, which stated this was a robbery and demanded the teller to give him cash.

The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled the store on foot with the cash. No weapons were seen, and no customers or bank employees were injured during this incident.

The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing between 200 and 225 pounds, and approximately 30 years old. He was wearing blue jeans, a navy and white San Diego Padres baseball jersey with #31 and Winfield on the back, and a tan and navy San Diego Padres baseball hat.
