Trash Poem 2011

“Oh well, it’s only a wrapper.”

Out the window it goes.

“It won’t make a difference.

It won’t even show.”

It’s this thought by so many

Whose careless acts,

Make “don’t give a ____”

An absolute fact.

The situation is real

What can you do?

There’s two ways to go.

It’s all up to you.

Acquiesce, give in, help

pick up the offends.

Or, take a stand, report

The license so it ends.
