Generous donation saves Santa party for military children

FALLBROOK – Members of the Fallbrook Woman’s Club were surprised at their June meeting with a donation of $5,000 from Pacific Precision Products (PPP) of Irvine, intended to cover the expenses of the organization’s annual Rockin’ with Santa Party.

PPP president Francois Vigier stated, “I am glad if we can make a small difference in the life of the organizers, and most importantly for the families of the ones that stand for our values.” PPP is a manufacturer of oxygen systems and flow control components for the aerospace industry.

The Rockin’ with Santa Party is sponsored by the Fallbrook Woman’s Club each year for children of the Operation Hero program at Camp Pendleton. These children either have a parent serving in the Middle East or one who has been wounded in action. The Woman’s Club provides gifts for the moms and dads that the children choose, wrap, and bring home for their parents. Santa also brings presents for all the children and there are various activities including a pizza party, face painting, visit by Michael the Magician and other goodies.

This is a great way for members of the community to say “thank you” to local military families for all they have undergone as they continue to protect Americans and keep this country safe.

“The Fallbrook Woman’s Club is grateful to Pacific Precision Products for their generosity which allows the continuation of this special Christmas party,” said club president Ayn Bryant. “Their generous donation comes at a good time and allows the Woman’s Club to enhance the gift levels for both the children and their parents.”
