Animal sanctuary has wish list

The Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary (FAS) would appreciate a few donations as soon as possible.

We are making a new walk-in cage to replace 12 small cages so the cats can stretch their legs. We just need a roll of chain link fence 40 ft. by 6 ft. We have poles and a top ready to go.

The sanctuary is working on its Mad Hatter and Alice in Wonderland Tea Party hosted by Silvergate Retirement Residence, Sunday June 2 and we need some wonderful people to help us with donations of small cupcakes and tea sandwiches like egg salad, chicken salad, etc. We are keeping it simple - tea, coffee, tea sandwiches, entertainment, music, and a wonderful silent auction.

If you are saying, “Didn’t the FAS just host the PAWS in the Park?” Yes, and it was a lot of fun and we met so many great doggy people, but the proceeds barely paid the rent. We are worried about next month and the next.
