Time to stop spectating

Dear Mr. President,

Hope you are enjoying two weeks of fun in the sun as our world and our country continue to decline at a frightening rate.

I had a fleeting moment of refreshed pride in America when you announced limited support for a select few of those persecuted in Iraq; but it is waning quickly.

Evil in its purest form is on the move with names like ISIS and Hamas. Radical Muslims are using brutal tactics unseen since this nation’s birth. Christian, Jews and other minority religions are being targeted for extermination in dozens of nations. A cancer like none before, driven by pure hate.

You made it clear for six years that America as the world’s police force is distasteful to you, and yes many Americans are tired of war.

Sorry, but evil doesn’t seem to be cooperating with your wishes of wanting to be a spectator. It is crystal clear no other nation or the UN can come close to having the fortitude, strength and moral compass to fill that role but America.

So, it’s time to put the endless campaigning and fundraisers to rest and start focusing as a commander in chief of the only nation that can save the planet through action and leadership.

We know you are so concerned in leaving a legacy, but so far no good ones really come to mind.... leader of the nation that saved the world from radical Muslims has a pretty good ring to it.
