Peace will require effort and intelligence

This Christmas I attended a service of carols and readings in Vista, and a traditional service in Fallbrook. The carols from many lands expressed a yearning for joy, peace, and justice. The traditional service included prayers for blessings and peace.

It is not enough to hear carols or say a few prayers. Peace with justice for all, in all lands, will not come unless we work for it with effort and intelligence. This is more important today, maybe our most important work.
