Deans celebrate 60th anniversary

Wendall & Earline Dean of Fallbrook will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary April 5.

They were married in Lynwood, CA, on April 5, 1945. This was during WWII and gasoline was rationed. They well remember walking to work for several weeks to save gasoline-rationing coupons in order for a short honeymoon to Lake Elsinore.

The couple has two daughters: Wilma rood of Oroville, CA, and Sharon Berry of Maui, HI. They have four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Earline retired from Bank of America after 40 years of service. Wendall retired from Rancho Los Amigos Hospital of the County of Los Angeles after 27 years. They have lived in Fallbrook for 15 years.
