Fallbrook resident to compete on TV show

Sean Berry, a 23-year-old Fallbrook resident and fourth degree black belt in Taekwondo, will be one of the martial arts contestants on ABC’s new “Master of Champions” reality TV show airing this Thursday at 8 p.m.

Sean started Taekwondo here in Fallbrook when he was 5 years old with the American Taekwondo Association, the largest martial arts organization in the US. Later he became a member of their World Demo team and was one of a dozen team members who traveled to North Korea in 1999 to train with their Olympic Taekwondo team prior to their first ever appearance in the Olympics.

Last year he competed for and earned the title of World Champion in Forms at the American Taekwondo World Championships in Little Rock, AR.
