It's past time to clean up Congress

Most people consider this the worst Congress in our nation’s history. This Republican Congress doubled our national debt in Issa’s six years, worked 93 days this past year and spent their time increasing their own salaries. My 46 years as a Republican were spent in an effort to conserve a good future for our country. This Republican Congress voted to take many tens of millions in taxes off the wealthiest one percent while our troops are dying in Iraq.

Issa gave us a press release in early August of how he had urged Bush to give hundreds of millions of your tax dollars to Lebanon, whose government leaders were extolling the virtues of Hezbollah at the time. Hezbollah, you will remember, murdered 241 of our Marines as they slept in their peacekeeper’s barracks in Beirut.

It is past time to clean up Congress and the Republican Party. I served as an Artillery Battery Commander 50 years ago and I have been in every House and Senate office in Washington in battles (which I won) for you. Write in Frank Ford against Issa for Congress. It is past time for a change.

Issa’s big corporate lobby backers are getting nervous! The next two weeks should be very interesting.
