Learn to make Christmas floral arrangements

Four of Fallbrook Garden Club’s own floral designers, Margaret Ann Ashton, Leslie Sill-Hokeness, Yolande Jackson and Pauline Sechi, will be presenters at the club’s Tuesday, December 19, general meeting, which will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Fallbrook Community Center, 341 Heald Lane.

These members will demonstrate how to make Christmas floral arrangements quickly and easily. Margaret Ann will show how to carry out a theme, from a door swag to the living room mantle. Leslie plans to make a square wreath out of birch tree branches. Yolande, the Garden Club’s current co-president, will make a table decoration to include candles, and Pauline will demonstrate how to make a protea and eucalyptus wreath that will last into the new year.

All the pieces will be raffled off at the end of the meeting as part of the club’s monthly scholarship fundraising. All meetings are open to the public.
