Reinke executive director of FAVB

The Fallbrook Area Visitor’s Bureau (FAVB) is pleased to announce the recruitment of Rhonda Reinke, Fallbrook’s Honorary Mayor, to the new position of executive director of the bureau.

The decision follows months of hard work and dedication Reinke put toward the promotion of the downtown Fallbrook area through the winter months, primarily with Joyful Traditions. The event, held over three Sundays in December, invited residents and visitors to convene downtown to shop, eat and enjoy the festivities Reinke established and lead primarily on her own.

“Reinke has a proven track record of being able to manage and bring people together,” said Don McDougal, FAVB president. “She will be a great asset.”

The quality and success was easy to see, but what makes it even more impressive is the fact that Reinke managed it with little administrative support.

FAVB is looking forward to the progress it will make in the coming months with the addition of Reinke, where she will be aided with funds, a board and administrative assistance.

“I am so pleased Reinke has become such an integral part of our community,” said Julie Reeder, FAVB vice president. “It has been exciting to watch what she has done and it will be a thrill to see what she can do with the bureau.”
