Personal defense still up to the citizen

Most California politicians are completely oblivious to the personal defense issues of the ordinary citizen. Most politicians, mostly Democrats, never need to worry about personal defense because their position lets them have at their disposal state-funded protection, i.e.: California Highway Patrol. Our elitist Democratic politicians could care less about your safety or mine as long as the votes are there to get them in office. So be of good cheer; your own personal protection is still in your hands and law enforcement still shows up after the fact.
