Sprint withdraws Green Canyon wireless application

Sprint has withdrawn an application for a wireless communications facility in the 2500 block of Green Canyon Road.
Sprint had proposed a faux broadleaf tree 35 feet in height to house the antennas.
“There was an issue regarding RF interference, and so Sprint decided to withdraw,” said Merry Tondro, the project manager for the county’s Department of Planning and Land Use.
A meeting with interested parties took place February 13.
