A piece of Fallbrook stolen

We’d like to report yet another lost dog in Fallbrook – a stolen dog, actually. We are referring to the life-sized bronze retriever sculpture that was removed from its pedestal sometime Monday evening or early Tuesday morning.

The sculpture was donated by Dr. Steve and Colleen Aichle to the Fallbrook Village Association and was on permanent display in front of the Avocado Animal Hospital on East Mission Road.

Apparently, this is not the first sculpture to be stolen from the Friendly Village’s collection – possibly for sale now as scrap metal!

If anyone has any information regarding this incident, please notify the Fallbrook Sheriff’s Department. We’d like our favorite canine returned home, please.
