Wood, Heyneman for Planning Group

Jack Wood and Jackie Heyneman are excellent candidates to fill the openings on the Fallbrook Community Planning Group (FCPG). They spent the last several years serving as appointed members on two FCPG committees each.

Longtime FCPG attendee Jackie Heyneman serves on the Land Use and Design Review Committees while on her village rounds: planting and nurturing trees, “Keeping Fallbrook Clean and Green” and numerous other community causes. Jackie has spent 25 years enhancing your quality of life by problem-solving large projects that would discourage others.

Jack Wood was appointed chairman of the Land Use Committee and vice-chair of the critical Circulation Committee while serving on the Planning Group in ’05-’06. His continued leadership presence on the FCPG is vital for continuity to assure Fallbrook’s future character.

It is important to note that candidate ordering on the ballot is determined by a random alphabet name draw by the state. This year, FCPG has 13 candidates for eight openings.

Some of the better incumbents and their late ballot order are: Harry Christiansen (#9), our Fallbrook expert on Land Use and Circulation; James Oenning (#10), chair, Liberty Quarry Subcommittee for Environmental Protection Act toxic dust monitoring; and Jim Bowen (#13), hardworking FCPG secretary and historian.

Please, carefully preplan with your ballot book. If you mark the first eight on the ballot, you may end up with some with self-serving agendas rather than advocates for Fallbrook’s existing lifestyle.

The above candidates deliver – while others just make promises!
