Quilt Guild to meet, hold workshop

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Quilt Guild invites all those interested in quilting to attend its next regular meeting Thursday, November 5, at 6:30 p.m. at the Fallbrook Community Center for “How Do I Get There From Here? Every Quilter’s Journey.”

Contemporary quilt artist Gail Garber will be the featured speaker and will show 40 of her spectacular quilts and pieces of wearable art. She will present a light and lively trunk show sharing both triumphs and tragedies learned in the natural growth process of quilt making.

Garber will also offer a workshop on Saturday, November 8, entitled “Scrumptious Star Stitchery.” This class is especially tailored for the novice paper foundation-piecer. Call Elvia Dawson at (951) 694-8023 to sign up for this workshop.
