The Feinstein Foundation, out of Rhode Island, activated a national hunger campaign in April and May in order to donate $1 million to agencies that qualified and participated in fundraising during that time. More than 1,750 agencies participated in raising $197 million.
The CROP Walk has received funds for the last four years. It raised $41,482. The Fallbrook Food Pantry received $10,370. They certainly need that money. There are days that more than 100 people enter the pantry for food.
Forty-five percent of the world’s 2.2 billion children live in poverty. I thank all of you who walked and contributed to help the hungry here and abroad.
