FALLBROOK — Members of the public are encouraged to attend the Fallbrook Citizens’ Crime Prevention Committee meeting on October 27 in the Zion Lutheran auditorium.

From 7 to 9 p.m., attendees will learn how to protect themselves from Internet crimes and hear about updates on identity theft, the latest scams and crimes directed toward children.

Speakers will be County DA Investigator Joe Maggio, supervisor of the CATCH Unit (Computer & Technology Crimes High-Tech Response Team), and San Diego Police Department Sgt. Chuck Arnold of the ICAC Unit (Internet Crimes Against Children).
