Also serving the communities of De Luz, Rainbow, Camp Pendleton, Pala and Pauma
The Fallbrook Community Planning Group (FCPG) is currently seeking interested members of the community to serve as appointed members on its Public Facilities Committee.
This committee makes recommendations on those aspects of proposed projects which relate to water and sewer issues, schools, fire and police protection, utility issues such as electrical lines, undergrounding of transmission wires, cell phone towers and other similar topics.
Service on the committee thus provides an inside look at the future of our community and offers members the opportunity to make recommendations that will shape the future of our “Friendly Village.”
The Public Facilities Committee normally meets once a month on a Wednesday afternoon, but our November meeting has been postponed one day in honor of the Veteran’s Day holiday and will be held on Thursday, November 12, at 1 p.m. at the Sheriff’s Substation, 388 East Alvarado.
We will be discussing the Meadowood Project for 844 dwelling units at the intersection of Interstate 15 and Highway 76, proposed by Pardee Homes.
If you think this might be of interest to you, or if you’d like more information, please e-mail Anne Burdick, Public Facilities Committee chair, at [email protected] or just stop by to sit in on one of our meetings to get a firsthand look at what we do.
