Tails and Trails Dog Walk coming soon

FALLBROOK – Saturday, March 6, is a great opportunity for all well-behaved dogs and their walkers to gather at Los Jilgueros Preserve for Fallbrook’s original dog walk and “Happy Tails Dog Contest.”

The entrance to the preserve is across from Fallbrook Airpark on South Mission Road, just north of Sterling Bridge Road. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the one-mile walk and contests for canine competitors, ranging from Handsomest to Homeliest, Smallest to Biggest, and Prettiest to Cleverest, start at 10 a.m.

Dog owners can get their entry forms now and start collecting pledges. The forms can be obtained at http://www.fallbrooklandconservancy.org or by calling Connie Freese at (760) 519-2302, or the Fallbrook Land Conservancy office at (760) 728-0889.
