The many faces of Christ

FALLBROOK – Pax Nidorf, local Fallbrook artist, has created a series of paintings of the face of Christ. This one-man showing is displayed at the Pinnell Gallery, 124 N. Main Avenue, each Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m until the end of April.

Nidorf comments that no one picture can capture the depth of Christ’s emotions. Throughout history, no artist has accomplished this in one painting. “I have used 20 models, handsome men, moreover with interesting faces. Faces which to me capture some reflection of God,” said Nidorf.
