Vote on placement of the flag at the Fallbrook Library

FALLBROOK – Now that the goal has been met for funding, residents have the opportunity to vote on the placement of the flagpole at the Fallbrook Library. Voting will take place from Saturday, Oct. 15 through Saturday, Oct. 22.

There are two choices for placement and pictures of them will be provided. Ballot boxes will be placed in both the library and the Bottom Shelf bookstore and available during their respective hours of business.

The flagpole will be approximately 20 feet tall and the flag donated by Congressman Darrell Issa, 3 by 5 feet, will be illuminated at night. Work should begin near the end of November with a date for the dedication ceremony to be determined. For questions regarding the vote, call Peggy Kesterson at (760) 451-8686.
