Help urgently needed for homeless pets

I am a board member and volunteer for the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary. We are trying to get sponsors and vendors for the April 20 PAWS In the Park dog and family event to raise desperately needed funds for the care and feeding, medical assistance, and future adoptions for the homeless 180 cats and the 25 fostered dogs we have.

We have close to 21 vendors and have room for more but we only have six sponsors who have donated to the cause.

We are getting worried that the people of Fallbrook, who care about homeless pets, do not know we are now in town at 230 West Aviation St., across the street from Kentucky Fried Chicken and Radio Shack.

The sanctuary has found homes for over 3,000 cats and dogs since 2005 all with the help of unpaid volunteers and donations from some of the people in Fallbrook and some kind folks who live out of town. We are currently at seriously low levels in donations due to the weak economy and the FAS is surviving week-to-week to feed, medicate, and pay the bills.

We need people to please step up and help the sanctuary because if we run out of money we can not stay open and we do not know where these little pets will go.

Please go to http://www.fallbrookanimalsanctuary.org and donate, or mail a check to FAS, PO Box 159, Fallbrook, CA 92088 or email me for information on PAWS at [email protected].
