CALAFCO honors 2015 annual Achievement Award recipients

SACRAMENTO – On Thursday, Sept. 17, the California Association of Local Agency Formation Commissions (CALAFCO) announced the recipients of their 2015 annual Achievement Awards. The recipients were honored at the association’s annual conference held in Sacramento Sept. 2 through 4.

Each year, CALAFCO honors outstanding achievements by dedicated and committed individuals and organizations from throughout the state who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to advancing the principles and goals of LAFCO. San Diego LAFCO was presented with a Project of the Year award for its work on the 2015 San Diego County Health Care Services five-year Sphere of Influence and Service Review report.
