Fallbrook Beautification Alliance FBA elects new officers

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Beautification Alliance (FBA) elected new officers last month. FBA is a non-profit volunteer organization working with community partners to enhance Fallbrook’s visual appeal. It was founded in 2005 as a result of a recommendation from the Fallbrook Revitalization Council to improve collaboration between groups and individuals dedicated to making and keeping Fallbrook beautiful.

FBA benefits the Fallbrook community by coordinating efforts and projects to enhance and beautify Fallbrook's outdoor spaces, bringing organizations and people together to better serve the community and developing a plan for future funding by the state and county.

Projects currently managed by the FBA include Keep Fallbrook Clean and Green, and the maintenance of the Pico Promenade, downtown flower pots, Jackie Heyneman Park, and the South Mission medians. In addition, FBA volunteers clean public art in collaboration with Fallbrook Art in Public Places, reports and cleans graffiti working with the county sheriff, and developed and maintains the "Welcome Home" tribute to the brave men and women who serve this country on East Mission Road.

If anyone is interested in assisting with any of these projects, wants to learn more about, or to contribute to the organization, they can visit www.fallbrookbeautification.org.
