Strong winds cause damage in Fallbrook

A tree fell onto this truck parked behind Club Paradise around 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31. The driver was trapped in the vehicle until freed by North County Fire personnel. He was not injured.

A large tree fell on this house on West Elder Street, Sunday night, Jan. 31. According to North County Fire public information officer John Buchanan, the resident was inside but escaped injury.
