Crash on Interstate 15 southbound at Gopher Canyon gridlocks morning commute; roadway now open

A crash that occurred on southbound Interstate 15 early this morning (Thurs., March 10) gridlocked the morning commute towards San Diego.

According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles were involved in an accident at about 5:45 a.m. on the freeway, near Gopher Canyon Road.

"There were some individuals injured in the crash," said the CHP dispatcher, who said none of the injuries were fatalities.
