Fallbrook Historical Society hosts Easter event

FALLBROOK – The first day of spring found the community celebrating the way Fallbrook founding families may have historically done, with an old-fashioned Easter egg hunt.

Fallbrook Historical Society board member Tracey Lubben explained that the special event for children was observed that day along with the monthly rummage sale held on the museum grounds. A surprise visit by the Easter Bunny created excitement for the children, especially when he posed for photos.

"We encourage the community to visit the museum and take pride in the rich history of Fallbrook," said Lubben.

The Fallbrook Historical Society museum is located at 1730 S. Hill at Rocky Crest. It is open Sunday and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment by calling (760) 723-4125. Admission is free.
