Mary Helen Brownell, 85, passed away on Jan. 1, 2005, in Temecula, CA. She was born on July 4, 1919, in Phoenix, AZ. Formerly of Bonsall, CA, Mrs. Brownell lived in Temecula for 10 years.

Mrs. Brownell was a homemaker for 56 years.

Mrs. Brownell was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice B. Brownell, in 1995. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Ralph & Carolyn Brownell, Temecula, CA, and Charles & Sandi Brownell, Atascadero, CA; daughters and sons-in-law Maureen & Robert Oskey, Camarillo, CA, and Susan & Ray Goodlet, Dickson, TN; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held Wed., Jan. 5, 2005, at Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary. Funeral will be Thurs., Jan. 6, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary, with interment following the service at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Los Angeles Firemen’s Relief Assn. (Widows & Orphans Fund), 2900 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 92006. Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
