Dale Wood, 75

Dale Wood, 75, passed away on March 19, 2005. He was born November 3, 1929, in Inglewood, CA. He had seven brothers and three sisters. He married his high school sweetheart Gladys (Daniels); they would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this August.

Dale worked in and managed meat markets most of his life. He owned and operated two in Manhattan Beach before joining South Bay Butcher Supply.

Dale and Gladys moved to Fallbrook in 1990, where he owned and operated Shear Edge West sharpening service. He was also a talented artist and leaves a legacy of many beautiful paintings. He was very active at Riverview Church, serving on the Men’s Ministry team and leading a home group Bible study.

Dale is survived by his wife Gladys; son and daughter-in-law Larry and Louise Wood; daughters and sons-in-law Terrie and John Fasullo and Debbie and Frank Fasullo; brother Jack Wood; sister Barbara Tindall; grandchildren Dan and Kim Wood, C.J. Knowland, Nick and Jodi Fasullo, Casey and Scott Padelsky, and Josh and Luke Fasullo; and great-grandchildren Baylee Wood and Ellie Padelsky.

Dale will be greatly missed, not only by his family, but also by his family in the Lord. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Riverview Church, 4980 Sweetgrass Lane (on Hwy. 76 in Bonsall), on Thursday, March 31, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to REFC Men’s Ministry Scholarship Fund.
