Mrs. Josephine Carroll Christensen

Mrs. Josephine Carroll Christensen, 82, passed away on April 27, 2005. She was born on June 13, 1922, in Boston, MA.

Mrs. Christensen was a homemaker and also served in the US Marine Corps as a Private First Class during WWII. She was a member of the Fallbrook Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Mrs. Christensen is survived by her husband of 58 years Bjorn Christensen; daughter & son-in-law Cathy & Jay Hampton, Fallbrook, CA; sons and daughter-in-law Frank & Veronica Christensen, Columbia, SC, and Mark & Cheryl Christensen, Orange, CA; sisters Mae Culhaney, Betty Kahlil and Helen Philbrook, all of Boston, MA; brother Manny Salem, Framingham, MA; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Service was held on May 2, 2005, with burial at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA. Memorial donations can be made to Fallbrook Hospital Hospice, 624 E. Elder St., Fallbrook, CA 92028. Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
