Fire District seeks community input

Last updated 2/8/2007 at Noon

The North County Fire Protection District, which provides fire and ambulance services to the communities of Fallbrook, Bonsall, and Rainbow, is in the early stages of revising its Strategic Plan. As the first step in this process, the District’s leadership wants to hear from residents in the communities that it serves about their concerns, issues, and priorities for their fire district.

To obtain public input, the Fire District is hosting a public meeting on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 6:30 PM at the Fallbrook Public Utility District building on the corner of Santa Margarita Drive and East Mission Road. The District’s senior staff will provide a status report on the current state of the fire district and lead attendees through a process to identify issues and priorities that the staff and the District’s Board of Directors need to address in the next edition of the Strategic Plan.

Anyone with interest and thoughts on the future priorities for the fire district is encouraged to attend. Please contact Loren Stephen-Porter at the fire district offices (760-723-2012) for questions or additional information.
