Last spring, these Fallbrook Girl Scouts hand-delivered cookies to the troops onboard the hospital ship USNS Mercy before it deployed overseas. Troop members include (back row, from left) Kendra Dahlke, Shane Murphy, Katherine Ward, Makenzie Brady, (front row, from left) Casandra DeHoog, Ashley Cook, Rebecca DuPont, Emily Schoeder and Sophia Martin. The troop was named an Operation Thin Mint Superstar Troop by ranking in the top 50 troops in the San Diego-Imperial Council in cookie sales for the military.
