Art Association holding workshops for teaching volunteers

Fallbrook Art Association (FAA) will be sponsoring a few extra workshops, called “Hats Off to Art Assist Teachers!” to honor FAA members who sign up to teach at least one fifth grade art class in a choice of three local elementary schools this coming year through its Art Assist program. FAA will cover the fee for volunteers taking these workshops.

No special credentials or experience are required, just a desire to participate in a very rewarding activity with children. Participants are asked to commit to a half-day once during the school year at one, two or all three schools.

All workshops will be held at the Fallbrook Public Utilities Building, 900 East Mission, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
