Suzanne (Suzie) Stromsoe

Suzanne (Suzie) Stromsoe, 40, went to be with her Lord on November 19, 2007. Born May 9, 1967, in Los Angeles, she lived in the Fallbrook area for 33 years.

Suzie graduated from Fallbrook High School in 1985 and earned her cosmetology license in 1988. She worked in the cosmetology business for 19 years. Her first job after getting her license was at Hair Fair Salon in Fallbrook. After Hair Fair closed she transferred to Lucca Salon in Bonsall and finally to Provence Salon, also in Bonsall.

Suzie’s great love was deep sea fishing with her dear friend Scott Parker. She also loved reading, crossword puzzles, being in the sun on the ocean, sport fishing and waterskiing. She was a certified diver and enjoyed traveling to Baja and the Caribbean.

Suzie was a wonderful individual who touched many lives in a very special way. As she lived her life, so her dear spirit now flies free.

She is at home with her Lord now. Her wish was to have her ashes scattered at St. Maarten, a Dutch island in the Caribbean.

Thank you, Lord, for that she belongs to you.

Suzie is survived by her mother Darleen (Pizzo) Bickley and father Daryl Bickley; grandmother Louise Pizzo, Silvergate Retirement Home; and cousins Peter Pizzo and Kristen Pollard, all of Fallbrook.

Please take some time to reflect on your special times with Suzie and keep them in your heart. She would like that. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 2 p.m. at San Luis Rey Downs. Family and friends are welcome to the potluck luncheon.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Fallbrook Hospice.
