Can you be a computer coach?

Fallbrook SeniorNet is brimming with eager students and is looking for volunteers willing to assist instructors in the classroom as coaches. SeniorNet provides quality computer instruction for area seniors and features small class sizes (no more than seven in a learning group) and lots of one-on-one attention. The approach has proven to be extremely popular with the senior students. As a result, the SeniorNet waiting list grows.

Ideal coaches are not technical gurus. They simply need to have a basic working knowledge of computers and, more importantly, a desire to help students that are willing to learn. SeniorNet is looking for individuals who remember the challenge of facing the computer as a fearsome unknown and came to enjoy the satisfaction of learning to use it as a fun tool that promotes staying in touch with family and friends.

Volunteer coaches receive free SeniorNet membership and can take SeniorNet courses without charge.

Anyone interested in volunteering or just finding out more about SeniorNet should call 728-0855 or 728-1720 or go to http://www.SeniorNet-Fallbrook.org.
