Smokey Bear would like to remind everyone that trees supply a great deal of the oxygen people breathe and they purify the air. They also provide lumber, paper and shelter for wildlife. Trees also prevent soil erosion. CAL FIRE and Smokey suggest this: when going into the forest, do a tree a favor – prevent forest fires.
