On November 5 the Verbum Dei Award was presented to St. Peter’s Catholic School eighth grade students Cieria Villegas and Paxton Hawthorne of Fallbrook.
The award ceremony and luncheon took place in San Diego at Mater Dei Catholic High School.
Students who received the award were noted for their Christ-like leadership, compassion for others and living the Ten Commandments.
