Fallbrook Village Rotary has been supporting the 7th Marine Engineering Battalion. They were visited by three members of the battalion during a meeting on January 29.

Having just returned from a deployment in Iraq, Lt. Col. Matt Hess, Commanding Officer, Sgt. Major Tim Shatto and Family Readiness Officer Alan Reid gave the Rotarians a brief description of the functions of the battalion in combat.

They then presented a slideshow depicting the battalion’s activities in Iraq. And, in recognition of the Rotarians’ support, they honored the club with a flag that had been flown over their base.
