Gem & Mineral Society to meet April 9

The Fallbrook Gem & Mineral Society will meet April 9 at 7 p.m. at 123 West Alvarado, Suite B.

Speaker Richard Shields will discuss fluorescent minerals. He will be displaying some of his own fluorescent minerals from all over the world and using long- and short-wave fluorescent lights for viewing minerals that, in the light of day, may appear quite plain.
