Bruce and Mary Clemens of Fallbrook are excited to announce the engagement of their daughter, Summer Elizabeth Clemens, to Brian Cullinan Knapp, son of Art Knapp and Nancy Cullinan of Santa Barbara.

Knapp and Clemens met in the dining hall at their alma mater, UC Irvine, in 2004.

Clemens graduated in 2007 with a BA in English. After earning her teaching credential from Cal State San Marcos last spring, she is currently teaching in an independent study program for high school students.
