FALLBROOK — La Paloma’s ASES after-school program is teaming up the preschoolers at We Care Preschool with sixth grade buddies.
One Monday a month, the ASES sixth-graders spend 30 minutes at the preschool. Each preschooler is grouped with three to four sixth-graders to do an activity.
The activities consist of arts and crafts along with educational games. The buddies also read and perform nursery rhymes, which helps the preschoolers build their speech and vocabulary.
