Munoz and Fieri named Potter Students of Month

FALLBOOK – Esmerelda Munoz, 7th grade, and Tessa Fieri, 8th grade, were introduced to the Rotary Club of Fallbrook by school counselor Keely Smith as Potter Junior High Students of the Month. The category was “Responsibility.”

Counselor Smith lauded Munoz for coming to the aid of a fellow student who was limited in English skills. Without any prompting, Munoz fully assisted the student, making it possible for the student to be successful. Consequently, Munoz’s own grades also improved.

Tessa Fieri was out of school ill and was not available to attend the Fallbrook Rotary weekly luncheon meeting. Rotary President Tom Koehler presented Munoz with a Certificate of Achievement.

Potter Student of the Month is an ongoing Fallbrook Rotary program designed to encourage excellence within the student body.
