FUHS Employees-of-the-Month Tagle-Nava and Bergman honored by Fallbrook Rotary

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook High School’s Jose Tagle-Nava and Thor Bergman were introduced as Employees of the Month to the Rotary Club of Fallbrook at their weekly Thursday luncheon meeting. Making the introductions was FUHS Superintendent and Rotary Club member Dale Mitchell. Rotary President Tom Koehler presented them with Certificates of Excellence.

Tagle-Nava was recognized for his dedication to Fallbrook’s English Learner students by putting in long hours and extra work to improve the program, as well as providing FHS teachers with valuable data on their EL students. Tagle-Nava has created user-friendly spreadsheets and data tables to provide teachers with up-to-date, relevant data which makes tracking and assisting students much easier.

Bergman was recognized as the unsung hero in the IT department for his eight years of expertise and good nature that allows him to continue performing in the face of often overwhelming numbers of requests for his time. Bergman is said to avoid the spotlight, and because of that his extraordinary efforts often go unrecognized.

FHS Employee-of-the-Month is an ongoing program of the Rotary Club of Fallbrook to promote employee and teacher excellence at Fallbrook High School.
